Sunrise Homes is a family owned modular home business. It all began with the vision of Larry Herrington, who founded the company in the year 2000. Although Larry built homes for many years in the ordinary "stick-built" fashion, he started Sunrise Homes with a more contemporary home building concept. Through the years Larry came to understand what consumers needed from the home-building experience. As the cost of labor and materials continued to substantially increase, Larry realized a common need from his customers. They wanted their homes built in less time and at less cost without sacrificing quality.
Recognizing the multitude of benefits of building modular homes, Larry knew that stick building could no longer deliver what his customers needed. His home-building vision shifted, and Sunrise Homes was born. As Sunrise Homes began to pick up speed, Larry's two sons, Todd and Chad, joined the company and have since taken over many aspects of operating the Vermont based modular home business for their dad.
Today, Sunrise Homes builds custom modular homes in order to deliver the utmost with regard to time and cost efficiency, while maintaining excellent quality and offering custom home designs to meet every customers wish.
Currently, Sunrise Homes builds an average of fifteen modular houses a year and is continuing to grow.
